As Chief Innovation Officer for the largest Sotheby's International Realty affiliate in the world, Lance Pendleton leads William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s innovation labs, sales development programs, agent training and future concept partnerships. Lance disrupts traditional approaches to real estate, creating, envisioning, building and training on next-generation tools for the company, its agents and their clients. As a former corporate sales trainer, business development specialist, speaker and consultant to independent contractors and enterprises across the country, he brings over 15 years of experience in the psychology of sales, personal development, management training and education from a background including three Fortune 500 companies, the most recent being Apple. Lance specializes in the psychology of human behavior within a sales environment with a focus on developing sales professionals who can humanize relationships and anticipate a client's needs. His mission is to drive innovative solutions that impact business and industry segments to deliver new growth opportunities and cultivate and commercialize market breakthroughs. Lance Pendleton’s programs integrate next-generation skills with real-life situations to help correlate the link between business success and interpersonal relationships, all focused towards unique client experiences.
As Executive Assistant to the Chief Innovation Officer, Lexy Stauffer oversees the day-to-day operations of The Imagine Lab, its marketing, social media campaigns, hospitality, programming, and events. Additionally within the Imagine Lab, Lexy coordinates all training and oversees the My Learning platform for creating classes, managing training events calendars, and pushing out classes to agents in the field.
A graduate of Parsons School of Design with a focus in Interior Design & Architecture, Lexy brings enthusiasm and excellent knowledge of the critical applications needed for her role. In addition to her background in program design, implementation, and marketing, Lexy specializes in program management.
Lexy is a former certified domestic violence counselor and trauma-informed yoga instructor and brings a unique interpersonal skillset to her role at The Imagine Lab. She is adept at managing complex situations that demand attention to detail, and communicating clearly and in a timely fashion.
As Director of Strategic Growth for William Pitt Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty and Manager of the Larchmont, NY, brokerage office, Carolyn Fugere is thrilled to be in the midst of one of the most dynamic real estate markets in the country and part of an organization that is the preeminent real estate company in the world. She is unremittingly energetic, chronically enthusiastic, and a magician-like multi-tasker, which are essential traits to her roles within the company. Prior to joining Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty, Carolyn managed five offices in Litchfield County, Connecticut and Berkshire County, Massachusetts for sister company William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty. During her tenure, sales volume grew at a rate that far exceeded the general market growth and we became the largest brokerage in terms of total dollars and units in Litchfield County. Carolyn champions the Sotheby's marketing strategy, which takes powerful global brand partnerships and fuses them with targeted exposure within local, regional and national channels. There is a commitment to maintaining Sotheby’s leadership position in our local markets while also creating far-reaching global connections that surpass any of our competitors. Carolyn works with agents both new and experienced and encourages them embrace new technologies, new ideas and new ways to attract buyers to our listings.
Michele Benson is the Director of Training for William Pitt Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. Michele serves as our main conduit to educating our sales professionals on all our tools, technology, and brand offerings. Her responsibilities include direct one-on-one support for agent educational needs, creating and delivering web-based trainings, and overseeing the company's online learning platform that has over 140 a la carte classes.
Most notably, Michele served as a trainer for SmartMLS in Connecticut for over 10 years, one of the 20 largest MLSs in the nation representing over 17,000 real estate professionals throughout the state. She has also worked with buyers and sellers as a real estate agent in the Shoreline region.
In her free time she is a wake-boarding and snowboarding instructor, or can also be found at the beach in her hometown of Madison on her stand-up paddleboard.
As Director of Marketing, Monique Rafferty is responsible for creating and executing corporate marketing strategies, implementing strategic brand positioning and individual property marketing to differentiate the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in a technologically and visually compelling way. She thrives on challenges presented in the always evolving real estate market and strives to stay ahead of the curve, finding overall excitement and satisfaction in looking for new initiatives that will target shifts in the market. In the last two years, as head of a new marketing sector for the company, she has marketed more than $200 million in new developments in New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Monique graduated from Manhattanville College with a B.A. in Management and Marketing. She was also a member of the NCAA Women's Manhattanville Ice Hockey team for 4 years where she led the team as a Captain to muliple ECAC East tournaments and National Championships. Monique also earned All- Academic team throughout her tenure.
In his role as Director of Interactive Marketing, David Yang manages the internet and technology assets of William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty. His responsibilities start with implementing ways to innovate the home buying and selling experience through our award winning website and web partners and enabling agents and clients to make meaningful connections using powerful, bespoke tools like our lead management system, Home Finder and Market Tracker reports, and Client Marketing Summaries. Just as importantly, he is tasked with creating and enhancing powerful back end tools for the company's administrators and leadership by working closely with every department as well as numerous 3rd party partners to provide a comprehensive and cohesive technology platform so they are empowered to deliver exceptional support to our agents and clients.
David has been with the Sotheby's International Realty brand since 2008, previously working in the IT and Interactive departments at the corporate offices in New York City. He is a former board member of the historic Kissena Cycling Club based out of Brooklyn and is primarily powered by coffee, pizza, and high fives from his daughter.
Andrew Wood, Director of PR and Content, manages William Pitt and Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s public relations, social media and content marketing efforts. In his role overseeing public relations, Andrew works to increase visibility for agents and their listings in significant media outlets, and has worked with real estate reporters with prominent publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, writers with magazines such as Architectural Digest and The Week, television producers with programs such as NBC’s Open House and CBS’s Living Large, journalists with online outlets like Curbed and Zillow, and many more. In 2016 alone, the company achieved more than 1,500 press placements regionally, nationally and internationally. He previously headed the Public Relations department at Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc., in New York City.
