Carolyn Fugere began her career in real estate as a sales associate in Litchfield County, Connecticut, where she quickly became a rising star in the local market. Her firm's leadership team recognized her potential and soon offered her the opportunity to lead her brokerage as sales manager.
Fast forward to today: With nearly 20 years in the real estate industry under her belt, Carolyn brings experience and expertise in managing, marketing and selling in suburban, urban and rural markets. From brokering bungalows to beachfront estates, and castles to co-ops, she has overseen upwards of $450 million in annual transactions.
In addition to her extensive field experience, Carolyn has an impressive track record of building and leading some of the strongest real estate sales teams throughout Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts. She is a recent two time William Pitt-Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty Manager of the Year award recipient, an honor she received for her performance as a top recruiter with the firm. Her skill set on this front extends to acquisitions, large team affiliations and opening brokerages in new markets.

Carolyn, Director of Strategic Growth, is known among her industry peers as an inspirational leader and powerful motivator. Her advocacy for continuous learning at every level of the organization, as well as her tireless pursuit of greatness within herself and others, has elevated the firm, the careers of many people within it and the non-profit organizations she has served.
Michele Benson is the Director of Training for William Pitt Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty. Michele serves as our main conduit to educating our sales professionals on all our tools, technology, and brand offerings. Her responsibilities include direct one-on-one support for agent educational needs, creating and delivering web-based trainings, and overseeing the company's online learning platform that has over 140 a la carte classes.
Most notably, Michele served as a trainer for SmartMLS in Connecticut for over 10 years, one of the 20 largest MLSs in the nation representing over 17,000 real estate professionals throughout the state. She has also worked with buyers and sellers as a real estate agent in the Shoreline region.
In her free time she is a wake-boarding and snowboarding instructor, or can also be found at the beach in her hometown of Madison on her stand-up paddleboard.
